BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo for Frankfurt

BMW will launch its 6 Series Gran Turismo to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, writes Brian Byrne.

The car will go on sale in first markets in November and will be launched with three engine options, and the xDrive AWD system will be available.

The 2.0 four petrol will offer 258hp and a 6.3s sprint to 100km/h, while a 340hp six-cylinder unit will have 240hp. There will also be a 3.0 six-cylinder diesel with 265hp.

The car will provide a range of standard and optional driver assistance systems, including remote control parking and BMW Connected.
